Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of education, IAQC conducted an international conference on AUDACIOUS ICT PRACTICES IN PEDAGOGY on 17th May 2023 at our common auditorium. Dr. Ilangkumaran@Sivanadhan, Senior lecturer, Department of Tamil language from Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia acted as a resource person and delivered the keynote address on audacious ICT practices. What kinds of ICT tools that we have been using in teaching learning so far and how we effectively utilize the ICT for our pedagogy and make our learners still better understanding were deeply discussed. Resource person also discussed and compare the practices of pedagogy following in Malaysia and India. Students were actively participated and encourage asking questions and clarification on ICT using in teaching-learning. As an effective teacher how one can use ICT in our teaching also enlightened by the resource person. Overall 525 student-teachers were attended and benefitted by this conference.
National Conference was held on 6th April 2016. The founder –chairman delivered the presidential address, The Resource Person, Dr.Mumtaz Begum, Associate Professor, School of Education, Pondicherry University, delivered the Inaugural speech and Special speech address about Teacher Education through Partnerships and Collaborative Learning Communities and Dr.K.Anandan Professor and Head, Department of Education, Center for Distance Education, Bharathidasan University, Trichy gave Special speech about the technology uses in classroom and delivered the Valedictory address and more than 210 research and thematic papers published in our souvenir , afternoon session the participants from various state and various bed college presented their paper and distributed the certificates to the paper presenter.
A well planned and systematic National Conference was conducted with the eminent and excellent experts of different universities and colleges by presenting research papers in co-operation with the university and organizations.
International Conference was held on 2nd and 3rd April 2015. Resource Person Dr.Jeyanthi Subramaiyam, Educator, former Faculty St.Mary's Canossian College, Hang Kong, delivered the Inaugural speech and Special speech address about Indian mathematics classroom and Dr.Umme Kulsum, Professor, Department of Education, Bangalore University, Bangalore, delivered the Key note address and Dr.K.anandan Professor and Head, Department of Education, Center for Distance Education, Bharathidasan University, Trichy gave Special speech an animation related to different subjects.
On 3rd April Dr.Ramar, Principal, P.S.R College of Education, Sivakasai gave valuable speech about ICT uses in Classroom and Dr.A.Jahitha Begam, Associate Professor&Head, Department of Education, Gandhigram Rural University, Gandhigram gave Valedictory address and distributed the certificates to the paper presenter.
