National Voters Day-pledge

National Voters Day has been conducted on 25th January 2020 in our college. Principal,Dr. K.Santhakumari addressed college students about the relevance and importance of celebrating this day and encourage them to participate in the electoral process. All college staff members and Student Teacher’s had taken Voters Pledge , to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections.

National Voters Day-rally

A rally to create awareness on duty and right of voting on 25 th January, 2020. the objective of this rally is to create a platform to engage student-teachers in spreading awareness regarding the responsibility of common people to exercise their right of voting. it is done through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize the voters on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting. awareness rally aimed at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.

Science Exhibition

Science Expition has been conducted on October 25th ,2019 by Government Higher Secondary School Students In Senthurai. School student has created many kinds of science equipments thinks as well as display in class room. The student teachers have gone to visit it for learn new information from exhibition.

National Unity Day

National Unity Day 2019 is being celebrated on 31st of October, Thursday by the people all over India. It is celebrated as 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.The day is observed to commemorate the efforts of Sardar Patel in the integration of post independence Indian dominion. This year National Unity Day was celebrated on Thursday, 31st October. The Student Teachers Organize Pledge Taking Commemorate “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” at 11.AM on 31.10.2019 in the College Campus.

Research has shown that the use of multimedia in teaching helps students retain new information as well as aids in the comprehension of difficult material. And Digital Storytelling can provide educators with a powerful tool to use in their classrooms.

National Education Day

National Education Day was celebrated on 16.11.16 in our College. Dr.K.Santhakumarai, Principal, Presided Over the function and delivered a valuable speech about the origin of National Education day- in the remembrance of Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. Chief Guest Mr.G.Baskaran,PrincipalDhanalakshmi Srinivasan Teacher Training Institute,delivered special key note address.

The real education is to manifest the best things in an individual. Hence we are availing opportunities for drawing out the talent among the pupils.Ms.K.Revathi drew the picture of Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Also, we conducted a debate Programme regarding ,"Our Education system is based on Ancient Education or Today's Education". Our students eagerly participated in this programme and they expressed their thought about Ancient and Today's Education system.

Many of them participated in Tamil and English elocution about Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad and his contribution to education. Finally, Mr.P.Anandhan,VicePrincipal delivered the vote of thanks

Reading and Reflecting on Texts

The aim of the professional capacity of a student-teacher, specifically reading and writing skills. To enhance the reading ability of student-teachers, we conducted skill development programme on 18.11.16.

To give thedevelopment of skills for student-teachers, right at the school level, is very essential to channelise them for proper job opportunities. There should be a balanced growth in all the sectors.

Drama and Arts in Education

Drama and Arts in Education should engage the student - teachers to nurture and build their sensitivities through drama based their sensitivities through drama based on experience, emotions and interpretation.

Our student-teachers performed the programme for transformational action, experience and stage different kinds of drama and contemporary traditions relating to pedagogy to day-to-day problems of students in their life.

Education is no longer acquisition of bookish language. It is considered to be a lifelong process that keeps a going from the technology oriented.

Our student-teachers delivered how to prepare the teaching material through e-content,e-booklet for the selected school subjectand to create for individual growth and prepare the year content through Power Point Presentation.

Innovative school visit

There's no shortage of innovation happening in schools today. We see it every time we visit a new school - whether it's in my own backyard or on the other side of the world. But while all of that innovation is encouraging, it tends to happen in isolation - in a single classroom behind closed doors or in a few schools or districts. In order for meaningful changes to take hold in education, we must find a way to scale this good work.So,we are taking an important step toward making that happen.

The main objective of early intervention centres is to identify infants and young children with Hearing Impairment/Mental Retardation/Visual Impairment / Cerebral Palsy/ Autism/ Multiple Disabilities and to provide early intervention services to address the disability with medical and rehabilitation services. It also provides required training to parents and families of such children for social adjustment and to facilitate the maximum development of the children with disabilities.

National Mathematics Day

National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22.12.16 in our College Auditorium. Dr.K.Santhakumarai, Principal, presided Over the function. Ms.G.Thangam,Asst.Professor welcome the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest by Mr.R.Anand,Asst.Professor.The Chief Guest Mr.K.Murali,Head of the Department,Oxford Engineering College,Trichy,delivered a valuable speech about the the Mathematician Sri.Srinivasa Ramanujam He shared the technique related to Maths and insisted the easy steps to do Maths and also he asked the logic questions to the student-teachers and he appreciated them. Finally, Mrs.K.Bakkiyalakshmi,Asst.Professor, delivered the vote of thanks.

Science Day Celebration

The Science day was celebrated on 28.2.2016. Mr.S.Ariventhan from Nehru memorial Hr.Sec.School, Eraiyur. An Eminent personality was invited as chief guest. He Delivered a valuable speech about three concepts like the origin of science day- in the remembrance of Sir C.V.Raman. The importance of masimagam - Which was celebrated once in 12 years due to the revolution of plants and the celebration of pie day(π-22/7) - which is on 14th march. He also emphasized on the shortcut method and correlated studies to students-teachers to learn science.
